Raising the Standard: Affordable Tyres 2 U is Now a Which? Trusted Trader

That’s why we’re really pleased to announce that Affordable Tyres 2 U is now officially endorsed as a Which? Trusted Trader.

It’s an important step for us, but more importantly, it gives our customers another reason to feel confident about choosing us.

What is a Which? Trusted Trader?

Most people know the Which? name, but you might not know exactly what being a Which? Trusted Trader means.

Which? Trusted Traders is an endorsement scheme designed to recognise reputable businesses and raise standards for consumers.

Businesses don’t simply get to display the badge. Before becoming endorsed, they go through an assessment process designed and administered by trading standards professionals.

That process looks at areas including business procedures, insurance, terms and conditions, complaints procedures and customer references.

Once endorsed, businesses also commit to the Which? Trusted Traders Code of Conduct, which sets out the standards expected of them.

For customers, it’s an additional level of reassurance when deciding who to trust.

Why was it important to us?

Affordable Tyres 2 U has been looking after customers since 2013.

Over that time, we’ve always tried to keep the way we work straightforward.

Turn up when we say we will.

Give honest advice.

Keep customers informed.

Provide clear pricing.

Do the job properly.

And make getting your tyres sorted as convenient as possible.

Becoming a Which? Trusted Trader gives customers independent reassurance that these standards matter to us.

It also fits with something we’re increasingly focused on as a business: raising the standard of tyre care.

What does raising the standard mean?

For us, raising the standard isn’t about being the biggest tyre company or making grand claims.

It’s about looking at every part of the customer experience and asking a simple question:

Can we make this better?

Can we make booking more convenient?

Can we communicate more clearly?

Can we give customers better information?

Can we make looking after your tyres easier to fit around work, family and everything else you’ve got going on?

The assessment looks beyond what a business says about itself, and endorsed traders are required to continue following the Which? Trusted Traders Code of Conduct. Customers can also leave reviews through the Which? Trusted Traders website, where reviews are moderated for authenticity.

For us, that’s exactly how trust should work. Don’t just take our word for it. Look at the evidence and make up your own mind.
