Do Mobile Tyre Fitters Charge a Call-Out Fee?

One of the questions we get asked quite a lot is:

“Am I going to get stung with a call-out fee?”

It’s understandable.

When people hear that someone is coming to their home or workplace, they often think of emergency services, trades or breakdown call-outs where an extra charge gets added just for turning up.

That isn’t how Affordable Tyres 2 U works.

Mobile fitting is the service

We’re not an emergency call-out company that happens to fit tyres. We’re a mobile tyre fitting company. Coming to you is what we do every day.

Whether you’re at home, at work or somewhere else that’s convenient, there isn’t an additional emergency call-out fee added simply because we’re travelling to you.

You’re paying for the tyre and the fitting service.

Of course, the total cost will depend on the tyre, the vehicle and the work required, but there isn’t a separate “call-out” charge added on top just because we’re bringing the service to your door.

It’s not just for emergencies

This is another common misconception. Mobile tyre fitting isn’t only for breakdowns or urgent problems. It can be used for everyday tyre care too.

That might mean replacing worn tyres at home, fitting tyres while you’re at work, sorting a slow puncture or getting things checked before an MOT.

The whole point is convenience. You book the job, we come to you, and you can get on with the rest of your day.
